In the past, childrenswear within the fashion industry never appeared to be advertised in comparison to the constant adult designer fashions exaggerated within the media. Childrenswear seemed to be an issue which was not addressed and designers gave the impression that they were reluctant to design anything for children - almost as if it was a sensitive subject.
