HIV care has come far since the disease first appeared, and a diagnosis isn't necessarily the death sentence that it once was thanks to medications and treatments developed fairly recently. But there are growing challenges in HIV care, mainly due to the changing medical workforce in the industry. The aging medical work force against HIV means that there are now more clinicians specializing in HIV care retiring than there are entering the field.
