Technology and Kids, When Is Too Early?

Are we introducing our children to technology too soon? Are we hampering their ability to be creative, and imaginative? Is technology making our kids impatient and lazy because everything is at the touch of a button? Kids, especially very small ones, need the opportunity to grow, develop and learn through active and interactive play. Once they reach school age, children are introduced to computers and smart boards, but they are also still given opportunities to color, draw, build, stack, climb, run, create, imagine and play. Kids need this in order to reach important milestones in their lives. There are plenty of toys, games, puzzles and books out there for your child to enjoy, play with and use, that do not require electricity or batteries, yet do more for your child both cognitively and developmentally, than any video or computer game ever will
